About the Role
We are looking for a General Manager to lead, inspire and manage a student community at Abbeygate in Chester. The role is a 40‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday 9.00‑5.30, and requires a dynamic leader with team‑motivating skills, a solid grasp of health and safety regulations and the ability to manage budgets.
Responsibilities
- Drive an exceptional student living experience and oversee staff in sales, maintenance and housekeeping.
- Embed the company’s core values and enable the team to excel in their roles.
- Manage the check‑in, check‑out and room turnaround process each September.
- Communicate effectively with new students and handle any customer or operational issues that arise.
- Report and present data and operational performance to the regional team.
- Lead, inspire and motivate the team while ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
