Overview

The Gas Foreman is responsible for overseeing one or more crews that are responsible for constructing and installing gas mains. This position serves as the on-site lead for major gas line construction projects, coordinating contractors and other utilities, reviewing plans, managing as-built revisions, and ensuring construction deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

· Oversee one or more crews responsible for constructing and installing gas mains

· Duties include performing and inspecting pipe fitting, welding, tapping, installing services, repairs, road bores, poly fusion, offsets, stoppling of mains, piping fabrication, employee training, and other related tasks as required
