Position Overview
Responsibilities - Build and maintain web applications from the user-facing front end through to the server-side back end using frameworks such asReactandNode.js
- Set up and manage databases includingPostgreSQLandMongoDBto store, organise, and retrieve data reliably
- Turn design mockups from tools likeFigmainto clean, responsive web pages that work across devices and screen sizes
- Build and maintainAPIsthat allow the front end and back end to communicate and exchange data smoothly
- Connect third-party tools and services such as payment gateways and messaging platforms into the application
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such asAWS,Google Cloud, orAzure, using tools likeDockerto package and run them consistently
- Put in place login and access controls using standard security methods such asOAuth 2.0andJWTto keep user data safe
