Simplified Breakdown – Fleet / Fulfilment Manager Role

Main Purpose of the Role

You’re basically the person making sure deliveries and warehouse operations run smoothly every day — even when things go wrong.

You manage:

• Trucks and drivers
• Warehouse receiving
• Kitting/orders being prepared
• Dispatch and deliveries
• Compliance and safety
• Problem solving when plans change

This is a very hands-on operations role where you constantly adjust the day’s plan in real time.

What You’d Actually Be Doing

1. Running Daily Deliveries & Operations

You:

• Take over the day’s delivery plan each morning
• Manage trucks, drivers, warehouse flow and dispatch
• Fix problems as they happen:
• Truck breakdowns
• Drivers calling in sick
• Missing stock
