Responsibilities
- The primary objective of this position is to plan, set up, sequence, layout, and fit steel columns, bracing, and beams with precision and efficiency
- Read and analyze structural detail drawings
- Interpret routine welding symbols
- Fit a range of components including columns, beams, and bracing for fabrication
- Plan work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Adhere to quality control (QC) guidelines
- Produce acceptable fillet welds in three processes and full penetration welds in two processes
