Job Description

We are seeking skilled Fitters/Fabricators to join our team in a leading steel fabrication facility. The role involves reading blueprints and tape measures to build layouts and perform tack welding. You will be responsible for fitting heavy and mild steel, as well as assembling, aligning, and preparing structural steel components for welding.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to understand dimensions and assembly requirements.
• Lay out and position steel components such as beams, columns, and plates using tools like tape measures and levels.
• Utilize fabrication tools including torches, grinders, clamps, and cranes.
• Prep parts by taking them off machines and laying them out based on blueprints.
• Perform assembly and tack welding before welders finalize the welds.
