The Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland is North America’s most comprehensive marine institute dedicated to education, training, applied research, industrial response, and technology transfer in support of oceans industries.

The Centre for Fisheries Ecosystems Research (CFER) is a research and training unit within the Marine Institute’s School of Fisheries that focuses on fisheries science and fisheries management. The unit conducts scientific research focusing on Newfoundland and Labrador fisheries and ecosystems, including their stocks and their sustainability.

This position will be part of the research team working on the Aquatic Ecosystems Restoration Fund project: Healthy Habitats in Priority Coastal Ecosystems.
