First Peoples Optometry & Vision Science Lead — Senior Lecturer (Identified)

This role is based in Australia, at the Blakcademy, Faculty of Medicine & Health, and will be based in the Kensington campus, Sydney, NSW. The position is part‑time, 21 hours a week, and the remuneration is $155,403 base (+17% superannuation, leave loading).

The role provides leadership and supports the School of Optometry & Vision Science to implement the First Peoples Cultural Capabilities Health Curriculum into undergraduate and post‑graduate programs. The incumbent is an emerging researcher expected to advance their research profile with publications in peer‑reviewed journals, applications for competitive funding, higher‑degree student supervision, and contribution to academic administrative functions and leadership within the School.
