An established mechanical contractor is seeking a Fire Protection Designer to support sprinkler system design for projects in life sciences, healthcare, and higher education. Projects range in size from $50K to $20M and are located throughout the Greater Boston area.



Responsibilities:

Design layouts for sprinkler systems in coordination with other MEP trades

Perform hydraulic calculations and generate stock listings

Attend coordination meetings (virtual and/or in person)

Conduct site surveys and hydrant flow tests

Support estimating team with review and preparation of bid drawings

Qualifications:

~ 3+ years of sprinkler design and hydraulic calculation experience
