Financial Lines Underwriter

Financial Lines Senior MLC Underwriter will be responsible for identifying and underwriting profitable accounts within underwriting limits under the guidance of the Head of Financial Lines. Manage assigned accounts ensuring efficient workflow in operational procedures while maintaining and growing relationships with brokers.

Responsibilities

• Assess risk (underwriting) servicing accounts and develop the FL product capabilities.
• Underwrite risks within underwriting authority through a rigorous risk assessment process, considering loss control, claims history, and other risk management functions.
• Maintain risk logging worksheets and use rater tool application.
• Ensure adherence to all underwriting guidelines and referrals.
• Transact and file accounts in accordance with company standards.
