Our client a PE backed distribution business require a hands on Finance Director to join their team to lead the Finance dept. Working closely alongside the CEO the role will focus on leading the Reporting and Commercial side of the finance dept as well as being involved in other commercial areas of the business. You may currently be operating as a Group Financial Controller, Financial Controller, or equivalent within a small to mid-sized organisation

• Preparation of annual financial statements, corporation tax and company secretarial
• Building excellent relationships with suppliers, auditors, bankers and tax advisor
• Oversee our annual audit and statutory account filing
• Running a stock management and reordering system
• Forecasting and annual budget preparation, reviews with all functions
• Leader of ongoing risk management process, mitigation projects and reporting to the Board
