Position Overview
REQUIREMENTS - BCom Accounting or relevant tertiary qualification
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Proven knowledge of Finance and Accounting practices, processes and IFRS
- Knowledge of South African VAT and income tax laws
- Sage 300 (or similar ERP) experience
- Strong Excel skills and general strong computer literacy
- SARS e-filing proficiency
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to learn continuously
- Approachable, team player, diplomatic and tactful
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and meet deadlines
- High business acumen, deadline driven, results-oriented
- Innovative and proactive in identifying control improvements
