Position Overview
Finance Management & Reporting - Review financial accounts to ensure the integrity of the financial records
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Monitor and supervise outsourced accounting service provider to ensure accurate financial records/entries
- Ensure proper financial systems and internal controls and ensure compliance with policies, processes and procedures established
- Monitor, and as appropriate, undertake proper assessment and accountability of the financial impact of contingent liability, if any
- Oversee donations tax-deductible receipts and sponsorships accounting and acknowledgement processes
Grant Accounting & Reporting - Establish proper tracking of grant fundings received and expended
- Prepare all grant related documents for grant application and submission/reporting
- Manage cost allocation and restricted funds for accountability to funders
