Field Service Engineer

Location seeking Engineers based in UK ideally within 2 hours of Manchester, Warrington or Birmingham. The role will involve some overnight stays - 1 per week on average.

Salary £45,000 – 55,000 + van (or car allowance) + overtime / allowances (£15 – 25k) + pension + 25 days holiday + credit card, fuel card, expenses, allowances, paid door to door

Hours Monday to Friday daytime with an on call rota 1 in 4

Snap shot of role:

* Varied work including service, maintenance, installations, upgrades and breakdowns on controls and automation equipment in multiple sectors such as paper, pulp, metals, food & beverages, building products, utilities, transport and similar sectors.

* Although the work is far more varied than just drives we are keen to speak to people with good drives understanding.

* Working on / troubleshoot / PPM on drives (servo, VSD, AC/DC), PLCs, HMIs, Scada, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps...
