+ Review power and communication shop drawings to ensure compliance with Power & Communication Conduit and Wiring Guidelines.

+ Review capital and in-house construction drawings for the installation of communications infrastructure and fare payment equipment and provide comments.

+ Review, and provide technical support for the vendor’s installation of conduit and wires, communication and power equipment, smartcard readers, and vending machines at NYCT’s stations and buses.

+ Conduct Quality Assurance functions and field inspections to ensure all construction work is being performed safely and complies with all NYCT operating policies, procedures and guidelines.
