About the Role

As a Fibre Network Designer in the Fibre Operations Team, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality fibre network designs that support new services, network upgrades, ongoing capacity management and preventative maintenance and strategic projects. You will contribute to end‑to‑end route and circuit design, develop cost estimates, and ensure all work aligns with engineering standards, Safety in Design principles, and project requirements.

Reporting to the Fibre Operations Team Leader, this individual contributor role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure designs are buildable, resilient, and delivered to the required quality and timelines. Depending on your experience, you will either receive mentorship from senior team members or provide technical guidance to colleagues and support continuous improvement across processes, data quality, and design tools.
