Job Summary

I am the mother of a 21‑year‑old daughter who was diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome at birth. She has learning and speech and language delays and currently travels from home in Worthing to Chichester College four days a week during term weeks and has a day centre placement three days a week in Worthing during holiday times. I need support and respite during those times and someone with a car who can take her to activities and clubs on weekends, evenings and holidays.

Ideally, the role will be long‑term, providing regular hours each week. This position offers a mix of short and full‑day shifts: up to 12 hours per week in term time (three to four hours per shift, negotiable) and two full days (8 hours) to cover INSET days throughout the year. During holidays I need 8 to 16 hours of cover on a Monday or Friday each week, with possible evenings, weekends or an additional 4 hours.
