Position Overview
Job Summary: -Evaluate and manage patients with low- to moderate-acuity conditions
- Perform focused histories and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
- Perform common procedures (e.g., suturing, abscess drainage, splinting)
- Initiate appropriate treatment plans and prescribe medications
- Ensure timely disposition (discharge or escalation of care)
- Document all patient care accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with ED physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice).
