Job Description Summary

This position is located in Caroline County, Maryland, and provides programming to Eastern Shore counties and statewide. The University of Maryland Extension (UME) seeks candidates for a 12‑month tenure‑track Extension Educator in the Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) program. The role is parallel to Assistant Professor and focuses on promoting healthy and economically prosperous Maryland residents through research, outreach, and interdisciplinary educational programs. The Educator will design, teach, implement, evaluate, and publish on topics such as financial wellness, community economic development, housing, and public health, and will develop community partnerships.
