Position Overview
Mt Barker Bakery is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing quality food in a busy bakery and café environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook and present a variety of café meals, savoury items and ready-to-serve food products
- Follow recipes, portion control and workplace procedures
- Assist with preparation of sandwiches, pies, pastries, fillings and other bakery/café items
- Maintain food quality, freshness and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and rotation of ingredients.
