• Location: London – Dalston Junction
• Hours: 2 days per week plus attendance at WOMAD Festival 24–29 July 2024
• Duration: 8–10 weeks. Internship to start early June (negotiable) and end in the first week of August.
• Starting date: 5th June 2024

Job Purpose

This internship focuses on developing an exhibition for the WOMAD festival that highlights Action Village India’s work, and supports the team during the weekend of the festival.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• WOMAD Exhibition Support
  • Attend planning meetings for the exhibition.
  • Research the theme of the exhibition.
  • Support the preparation, design, creation and installation of the exhibition.
• Event Management
  • Support event management duties as required.
  • Work with AVI staff, trustees and volunteers at WOMAD Festival 24–29 July 2024.
