PURPOSE
To meet the needs of exceptional children by providing services as required by State and Federal guidelines and Special Services manual.
 
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
The overall responsibility of the Physical Therapist is to provide Physical Therapy (PT) assessments and therapeutic interventions that are necessary for the student to benefit from special education, including compensation, remediation and prevention strategies and adaptations, focusing on functional mobility and safe, efficient access and participation in educational activities and routines in natural learning environments.
