Estimator / Assistant Cost Manager

Position Overview

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Cost Estimator who will be responsible for developing, managing and/or executing all estimating activities for a programme of works.

Key Duties

  1. Order of Cost Estimates / Cost Models / Cost Plans for:
    1. Feasibility purposes at inception.
    2. Planning stage.
    3. Procurement stage.
    4. Third Party estimate reviews during the Design stage (15%, 30%, 60%, 90%, 100%).
    5. Pre‑Tender estimates to forecast the most probable tender price based on published tender information.
    6. Undertake three‑point estimates for the pricing of risk.
    7. Data analysis of rates and maintenance of an estimating database.
  2. Discrete cost estimating tasks (typically carried out by the Design Consultant or a Third Party):
    • Cost planning at each design stage milestone (15%, 30%, 60%, 90%, 100%).
    • Bills of Quantities preparation for tendering purposes.
