Barclays is seeking an experienced
Java developer
to build and enhance the
low latency Equities Cash Connectivity Platform
supporting global electronic trading. You will design and deliver
high performance, resilient trading systems , working closely with
Front Office, business analysts, and global technology teams
to translate trading requirements into robust, production-grade technical solutions. You will undertake
end-to-end ownership
of system delivery, spanning design, implementation, testing, release, and production support, with a strong focus on
performance, scalability, stability, and risk control . You will participate actively in
code reviews and architectural discussions , mentor junior engineers, and promote strong engineering and secure coding practices.
