The EP Lab Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role demands a strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and advanced imaging technologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for patients with heart-related conditions. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.
Works closely and efficiently with Electrophysiologists, intradisciplinary staff and other invasive cardiology staff in performing a wide range of rhythm management EP / cardiac procedures. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
