Job Description

NNL is seeking an experienced ESH Advanced Compliance Engineer in the Environmental Remediation program area, which is part of the Environmental Operations and Remediation (EOR) unit. The EOR unit is comprised of subject matter experts in environmental remediation, radiological environmental monitoring, and compliance sampling at the Knolls Laboratory and Kesselring Site.
 
The primary function of this position is supporting the implementation of the NYS Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Corrective Action programs at the Knolls Laboratory and Kesselring Sites. This position involves working closely with an experienced team on the performance of environmental investigations, environmental monitoring, contaminant fate and transport assessment, remedy selection and evaluation, remediation construction, waste management, and regulatory compliance.
