Position Overview
Summary You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the Environment Affairs Division, Installation & Environment Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION, NEW RIVER. Responsibilities You will manages the storage, collection, identification, transportation and disposal of Hazardous Waste aboard the installation to include tenant commands. You will maintain liaison and provide technical assistance as required to HW generators. You will set environmental audit and oversight policy, maintaining a consistent approach for carrying out inspections and advisory activities. You will design specific environmental compliance audits, directs technicians and collateral duty personnel in conducting audits, and tracks results with statistical methods consistent with principles of the Environmental Management System (EMS).
