A well-established waste and recycling operation is growing its EHS function and has an opening for an Environmental Consultant. This is a permanent, ground-level role suited to someone early in their EHS career who is keen to build practical experience in a busy, hands-on environment.
The incoming person will be supported through onboarding by an experienced manager and will become a core part of a small, stable team. The environment is industrial — candidates must be comfortable working in a working waste facility.
What the role involves
- Environmental monitoring, reporting, and regulatory compliance across a multi-site operation
- Supporting the senior EHS team with day-to-day environmental management activities
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders on environmental matters
