Secondary English Teacher – KS4 and KS5 (with possibility of a curriculum leadership role for the right candidate)

Purpose of Role

Primary responsibility is to deliver high‑impact English lessons, support student learning and contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach high‑impact English Language and Literature lessons for KS4 and KS5.
• Deliver, collate and mark exam classes and coursework.
• Create challenging, stimulating classroom climate that motivates pupils.
• Support students to feel included, secure and valued, and reach their potential.
• Follow agreed guidelines, syllabuses and schemes, and maintain knowledge of British public examinations and national curriculum requirements.
