Job Description

The Engineering Tech II shall monitor and inspect buildings, associated building components, and infrastructure for life-cycle management. The Engineering Technician II shall submit and track, from initiation-to-completion service orders and work orders, perform various inspections utilizing various prescribed checklists, and assist with supplemental cleaning and associated tasks as applicable.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Conducts various tasks to include the inspection of life, health & safety equipment including fire extinguishers, Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) & AED Pads (Expiration Date), and Eye Wash Stations
* Conducts comprehensive building inspections
* Serves as the Fire Monitor in all DEVCOM-CBC buildings to resolve deficiencies identified by the APG Garrison Fire Department (APG FD) Fire Chief as well as works directly with APG FD Fire Inspector
