Traveling Engineer Technician

System One is seeking Traveling Engineer Technicians to support FAA communications and telecommunications infrastructure projects throughout the Southwest/Central U.S. region. This is a 100% travel-based field position supporting installation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and infrastructure upgrade activities at active project sites. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience supporting fiber optics, structured cabling, telecom systems, RF communications, electronics troubleshooting, wireless infrastructure, or complex electrical/electronic equipment in field environments.

Compensation & Schedule


+ Pay Rate: Approx. $25-$35/hr

+ Additional Health & Welfare Pay: $4.93/hr paid for the first 40 hours worked each week

+ Duration: 6-month contract to start with strong potential for temp-to-hire based on performance and workload
