Position Overview
Project Coordination - Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day coordination of steel and metal works projects
- Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Track shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, and technical submissions
Drawings & Technical Support - Assist in drawing coordination (Drawings prepared by the drafting team)
- Liaise with the drafting team on revisions, updates, and coordination issues
- Ensure drawings are aligned with site conditions, specifications, and contract requirements
Material Take-Off & Procurement - Assist in material quantity take-off for steel and metal works
- Support the Project Manager/QS in cost checking, variation order (VO) support, and progress claims
- Maintain basic records for quantities, tonnage, and material usage
