This position is for an EMT-Basic with the non-emergent transport division of Granville EMS. Position Responsibilities: Reports for duty no later than 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start of shift and remains prepared for assignment throughout the work period. Performs non-emergency medical transport for patients requiring BLS-level care, including stretcher and wheelchair transport. Safely loads, secures, transports, and unloads patients using appropriate equipment, including stretchers, wheelchairs, stair chairs, and restraint systems. Conducts patient assessments appropriate to the level of care to identify changes in condition prior to, during, and after transport. Provides basic life support care within EMT scope of practice during transport, including airway management, oxygen administration, vital sign monitoring, bleeding control, and patient positioning.
