Employability Coach - Fixed Term Contract - 10 months

Salary: £ 33,055

Responsibilities

• Work with customers from across the Customer Services Directorate, including Independence and Wellbeing and Neighbourhoods
• Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions in schemes, homes and virtually
• Run drop‑in sessions within I&W schemes and community centres
• Deliver employability / pre‑employment workshops and courses
• Signpost to other agencies through appropriate referral routes
• Empower front‑line colleagues to provide ‘in‑the‑moment support’ and generate more referrals to the team
• Support the delivery of funded programmes when required and relevant
• Align service delivery with the aims and objectives of the Community Investment and Sustainable Neighbourhoods strategies, as well as the principles of the Community Investment model
