Under the supervision of the Emergency Manager, the Emergency Vehicle Technician trained specifically to maintain and repair fire fighting equipment and emergency vehicles, including fire engines, tenders, tankers, rescue, flight line assets, foam systems, air compressor, dry chemical systems, hazmat response vehicles, and utility vehicles all known as fire fighting apparatus. Coordinates and performs highly skilled mechanics work. Maintains various types of emergency and fleet vehicles to include equipment.
