About the role

The Emergency Planning Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Emergency Planning Manager to ensure Wellington Free Ambulance maintains high-quality plans and resources for incidents that sit outside of routine ambulance operations.

This role provides specialist leadership, expert advice, and organisational coordination to enhance emergency preparedness, resilience, response capability, and business continuity across the organisation.

A core focus is developing and sustaining strong multi-agency partnerships, enabling effective collaboration with external stakeholders to deliver coordinated emergency preparedness and response outcomes.
