Overview: Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a
Emergency Department Technician. This position is on-site in Norfolk, Virginia. Position Status : Part-time (24 hours a week), evening shift
Position Location: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Emergency Department
Standard Working Hours : Evening Shift - 11:00AM - 11:00PM
Overview Assists the Physician, Advanced Practitioner, or Nurse in implementing plans of care for emergency/minor emergency care patients. Performs patient procedures and treatments under the supervision of the Physician, Advanced Practitioner, or Nurse.
De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire for all incumbents.
