POSITION INFO:
Key performance areas for this position will include the following: • Plan, organise and control all relevant Electrical and Electronic Engineering work for Artisans and other personnel within the department. • Perform calibration on various PLCs and other electronic control systems. • Ensure that all planned maintenance work, related to Electronics, is carried out efficiently within time limits provided. • Research equipment and component needs, sources, competitive prices, delivery times and ongoing operational costs. • Test electronics units, using standard test equipment, and analyse results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment. • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems. • Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory a...
