FINTEC Recruit is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer for our successful and established engineering client based in Caithness and Sutherland.

This is a permanent, full-time position with relocation allowance/assistance if relevant.

Working Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm, Friday 8am–12.30pm.

Competitive salary depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and systems
• Work on battery management systems (BMS) and power electronics
• Produce schematics and PCB layouts
• Support testing, prototyping, and fault‑finding
• Create technical documentation
• Work closely with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
• Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards
