Are you an experienced Electronics Design Engineer looking to take on exciting projects in the defence and aerospace sector? ALTEN UK is expanding our engineering team in Reading , supporting leading clients on cutting‑edge electronic system development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue, digital, and power (SMPS/isolated) electronic circuits.
• Produce schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using tools such as Altium, Cadence, or Mentor Expedition , ensuring DFM/DFT best practice.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation, including debugging, fault finding, and EMC verification.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation , including BOMs, test procedures, and design reports.
