Position Overview
Hiring Requirement: This position requires the individual to be a certified journeyman for Electro-Mechanical maintenance.
Keeps machinery and equipment in a state of good repair.Installs, moves, and repairs machinery, machine tools, and other mechanical equipment in the plant. Determines correct location and method of securing – assuring proper alignment and operation of the machinery once in place.When breakdowns occur, must be able to observe, test, and diagnose the cause of failure and make the necessary repairs and adjustments.Must be able to read, follow, and understand engineering specifications, schematics, and electrical and mechanical code specifications in maintaining and repairing equipment.Connects power to machines or equipment and tests unit to evaluate its electrical and mechanical operation.Lays out, assembles, installs, tests, maintains, and repairs electrical fixtures, apparatus and...
