What is the Opportunity?

As part of a Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment project Aecon Nuclear has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation to support the Excitation System replacement on units 5-8. Beginning in 2026 Aecon will support the validation phase design, procurement, constructability, schedule of the Excitation System upgrade.

Under the general direction of the Electrical Superintendent, the Electrical General Foreman will assist in the supervision, coordination and scheduling of construction activities for their dedicated scope and will supervise the construction project in compliance with the contract and the job cost estimate and ensures all the work is completed safely to acceptable standards of quality and workmanship.
