The Electrician maintains, diagnoses, repairs and ensures the proper, safe and efficient operation of the facilities electrical systems including, lighting, power, motors, controls, appliances and back-up generator as well as communications equipment such as telephone, cable TB and life safety systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Diagnoses, inspects, upgrades, installs and repairs electrical wiring, apparatus and equipment throughout the campus.Install, test, maintain, repair and calibrate as necessary and directed – facility computerized building management system, including: central controller, distributed control devises, sensors and actuators.Ensure compliance with the regulations of the State Health Department, National Fire Code (NFPA), Life Safety Code and State/Local building codes.Monitors the work of outside electrical contractors to ensure code and contract compliance.Reports deficiencies beyond the control or capabilities...
