Electrical Engineer

Permanent position · 37.5 hours/week

Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will be involved in the complete development cycle of electrical and automation systems for HVAC‑R equipment designed for the maritime industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control panels using AutoCAD Electrical and create the necessary electrical schematics for manufacturing.
• Program and configure PLCs and HMIs to ensure optimal system performance.
• Contribute to project planning, assess the required engineering time, and anticipate technical needs.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and control equipment during factory testing and commissioning phases onboard vessels.
• Perform on‑site commissioning of systems, ensuring proper installation and calibration of sensors and electrical components.
