The Electrical Distribution Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical distribution systems supporting airfield and base operations at Al Udeid Air Base. This role focuses on high- and medium-voltage electrical systems and airfield lighting infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous mission support.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems.Maintain, inspect, and repair airfield lighting systems, including runway, taxiway, apron, and navigational lighting.Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and infrastructure.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.Ensure compliance with NEC, safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site-specific regulations.Coordinate with airfield operations and other maint...
