Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical designs and shop drawings including LV distribution, lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV systems based on project specifications and applicable codes. Perform load calculations, short‑circuit studies, voltage drop, and cable sizing using design software and DEWA, ADDC, SEWA guidelines. Identify design conflicts, constructability issues, and raise RFIs as necessary. Prepare design drawings, SLDs, schematics, and layout plans in coordination with architectural and mechanical disciplines. Ensure design compliance with local authority standards (DEWA, DCD, ADCD, DM, etc.). Select and specify electrical equipment such as transformers, generators, LV switchgear, SMDBs, DBs, cables, and protection devices. Prepare design basis reports and calculation sheets for Design and Build elements.
