Responsibilities:
. Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents.
. Ensure strict compliance of Safety Case regime to identify, reduce and manage risks to 'as low as reasonably practicable' (ALARP).
. Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act as WSH Officer.
. Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives. Maintain on-site emergency response plans and major accident prevention policies.
. Conducting training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards
. Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programmes
. Review of Plant's Safety Performance to adapt to process or operational changes.
. Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
