**Lead Compliance Specialist**

The selected candidate will serve as the **EHS Compliance Team Lead** for a well-established EHS Compliance and Due Diligence team in the **Herndon, Virginia** office. They will need to be knowledgeable in federal and state environmental regulations and auditing practices, as well as the ASTM Phase I process and due diligence practices. The candidate will lead project teams delivering services for EHS compliance support, EHS auditing, EMS/ISO 140001 system development and auditing, and due diligence. They will provide technical direction, training, and mentoring to the team to develop skills necessary for client work and personal development. They will lead business development and proposal efforts to continue the growth of our EHS services and will collaborate with colleagues in WSP’s Transportation & Infrastructure, Energy, Climate Resiliency and Sustainability, Advisory, and Federal groups.
