Education Transport Driver

Do you hold a driving licence D1 entitlement and have a minimum of 3 years driving experience?

Are you committed to children’s safety and able to build effective relationships?

This role is 27.5 hours per week working term time only.

What will your day look like?

Our Drivers transport children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) from their homes to a local schools at the start and end of the school day, ensuring their safety at all times.

You will be driving an automatic, long-wheel-based wheelchair accessible Treka. 

You'll also be carrying out daily checks on your allocated vehicle, keeping it clean and safe for loading/unloading wheelchair users and using special equipment, as well as, securing passengers using a range of restraint systems.
