Summary
Position Objective:
The EMS Technician 3 performs troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment for repair within the area of responsibility in the EMS specific categories as needed in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid down time.
Position Responsibilities:
Services and oversees major electrical, hydraulic and/or diesel engine repairs of all types of construction equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop:Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipmentFabricates parts and equipment as required to meet shop and customer needsDiagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems.Performs check-ins and safety inspections and assists other equipment mechanics with general shop and equipment maintenance as neededConducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the field or other remote settings.Maintain safe work envir...
